Dr Jan Slabbert
MB ChB FRACGP practices with Hamilton Medical Group consults via videolink (skype) with patients from Balmoral every fortnight. Patients are required to meet with BBNC nurses prior to the consultation to take observations and forward to Dr Slabbert to be included in the consultation. Patients can choose to have a nurse present during the consultation if required. Dr Slabbert welcomes patients with any health issues, including ante natal appointments.
BILLING:
Dr Slabbert’s patients are invoiced through the Hamilton Medical Group. A standard consultation is 10 minutes.
Royal Flying Doctor Service
Doctor Lisa Bendtsen from Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) visits the BBNC on a regular basis. This is part of the Rural Women’s GP service (RWGPS) that aims to provide a greater choice to all patients who would like to see a female GP or a consistent visiting GP.
BILLING:
This service 100% bulk billed, therefore no out of pocket expenses.
